DID YOU KNOW

🛑  Registration is MANDATORY for all our events to ensure everything runs smoothly. Please note, that we will not accept last-minute joiners on the day of the event. We appreciate your respect for the timeline, rules, and efforts of our organizers for the Troodos Forest Treasure Hunt Adventure.

☆ Join us for an exciting treasure hunt adventure in the heart of the Troodos Forest, where you’ll step into the myth of Pefkomedon, the legendary protector of the mountains of Troodos. As you explore enchanting locations, you’ll also solve puzzles and uncover hidden clues. While journeying through the Nymphs' Forest, the Sacred Phoenix Rock, and more. Along the way, you’ll learn about the natural wonders of Troodos. Enjoy local delicacies, and work with your team to discover the ancient treasure that holds the wisdom to protect the forest. A fun-filled adventure for nature lovers, puzzle enthusiasts, and explorers on this Troodos Forest Treasure Hunt!

ℹ️ In this Troodos Forest hunt, teams will start at the Troodos Geopark Visitor Center, where they’ll receive a map of the journey. Guided by the myth of Pefkomedon, teams will then explore through various checkpoints. Will be solving puzzles and gathering hidden symbols related to the forest’s natural and geological history. Furthermore, each location will introduce new challenges. Requiring participants to not only decipher codes but also learn about or help local wildlife to unlock the next stage. Moreover, the goal is to use the clues gathered along the way. Collect points as quickly as possible and uncover the hidden treasure. Meanwhile, participants will also be learning about and actively contributing to the protection of the Troodos and the Natura 2000 ecosystem, making the experience both rewarding and educational.

ℹ️ The "Pandoteira" project will voluntarily participate in the Troodos Forest treasure hunt. Members of the project's team will inform us about the significance of the Natura 2000 network and the birdlife of the area.

🔻 We’ve noticed that waiting for latecomers can disrupt our events and isn’t fair to those who arrive on time. To keep things smooth for everyone, we’ll be sticking to the schedule rigidly. Please make sure to arrive at this activity on time so you can enjoy the full experience of the Troodos Forest Treasure Hunt Adventure.

***Fitness levels are subjective and vary between each person. If you're unsure about the difficulty level, please contact us for clarifications before joining the Troodos Forest Treasure Hunt Adventure.
